Number of different ideas (characters, plot lines, random scenes, etc) swimming around in my head that could be turned into a story and written about at this time: 4 and growing (not counting the 2+ NaNo ideas).

Number of ideas I am actively expanding on through writing at this time: less than 1.

I reeeeally should stat writing again. Here I am letting various characters and ideas swim around in my head... and I'm not writing anything down. It's not a very writerly thing to do, you see.

While innocently clicking around the internet, vaguely searching for something to inspire me (which never happened, as things turned out), I stumbled across How to Write a Best Selling Fantasy Novel, which gave me an unexpected laugh or five. So for the past couple days or so I've been putting effort toward cleaning out my closet. What possessed me to do this I will never know. At this point it's better not to ask, just finish the job. I haven't been keeping up with my AF wordcount for the past couple of days. Last night instead of writing the however many words I needed to write to be caught up, I worked on a script. I can't seem to get excited about my story, so there's no momentum and I've had to rely on myself to keep the words coming ( Read more... )

I feel like writing something. You'd think this would be useful because I need to write almost 3000 words to catch up in my April NaNo, but it doesn't seem to work that way. I'll catch up eventually, but for now I'll just watch Mythbusters and wonder why I don't post in my Live Journal more often.

I thought I'd be writing or at least trying to get something done, but instead I got sucked into watching anime on YouTube. Oi. This could take a while...

Oh, and I made a handful of icons yesterday. It was fun.
